Addison Stasie is a Metro Detroit Artist who uses physical and digital graphic layers to explore a different perspective of Modern portraiture. By using her inspiration from printmaking, street art, graphic novels and so many other mediums she utilizes an array of mixed media approaches to create stylistic solutions to the visual problems at hand. The topics of the entertainment industry, mental health, history and nature are her current focus while using art to explore the deeper topics regarding each of them. Some of her recent projects include logos for small businesses, private commissions, hand screen printed tshirt runs and custom nature themed wall art. Addisons work has been featured through her colleges as well as music videos, podcasts and community spaces. She hopes to continue connecting with people through different projects while expanding her career and bringing a unique voice to the discussion of "What is a portrait?".
